Hyperref support should appear in the next release (1.2.0). We've put
more than enough features into 1.1.6 to cause a much longer release cycle
than we want to operate on. With luck 1.1.6 will be out for Christmas and
you'll just have to resort to the preamble for hyperref support in the
meantime.
