Hi, There is a passage in my thesis which looks like this: "bla bla bla-, bla bla" LATEX thinks that the dash is a hyphen and does a line break BEFORE the comma. (I didn't write it with CTRL- of course.) So the next line begins with a comma, which is far from what I intended. I found a workaround simply by writing the dash in the math environment, but this shouldn't be the way to prevent this. Any ideas? Regards Christoph Friedrich
