I'm creating a document that will be viewed full-screen using acroread. I
want to be able to export the file directly to PDF so that I can easily
preview it while it is in development. According to
http://www.lyx.org/news/20000510.php3 this can be achieved by using the
command `pdflatex $$FName' in the File->Export->Custom dialogue. However, the
dialogue contains a list of file formats with checkboxes next to them as well
as a window for entering a command. One of these file formats is always
highlighted, and when I enter the command into the window it simply ignores it
and exports to a file of that format. I have a 3kb PNG screenshot of the
offending dialogue box, though I assume it would be very bad form to send it
to this list.
So, can some kind soul give me some hints on how to use custom export? The
user guides for this facility don;t seem to have been written. I'm using
version 1.1.5 on Linux, by the way.
