Strange behaviours
Could not reproduce it, but while testing the new release
with an previous 1.1.4 document, two events happened (that
I was unable to reproduce yet);
- while fiddling with selection, LyX crashed and went out with the
window manager...
- the second attempt was more successful, but the workstation
began to swap, and I found that this lyx-related task:
chretien 7977 1 2 10:13:33 ? 4:49 gs -sDEVICE=x11 -dNOPAUSE -dQUIET
-dSAFER -r50.6802x50.54 -g416x325 /tmp/lyx_tm
occupied more the 400 Mo
The fist problem my be due to xforms version, I use 0.88, is 0.89
recommended ?
The second one my be due to the crash, I didn't check the memory status
before restarting lyx.
Solaris 2.6, gcc version 2.8.1, xforms 0.88
I have a side question about selection: here, a selection larger than the window
makes the window scroll too quickly to allow a good control.
Is there a way to control the scroll speed, or to « complete »
the selection from a starting point ?
