Steven van Dijk, who has ported Lyx 1.0.4 some times ago has mentioned that
MIX did niot run with Lyx. Why not using Starnet's Xwin32? That versionm,
although commercial, is available for 2 hours each time you use it and that
version works fine with LyX!
