table of contents

hello,           In my thesis,chapter 1 page  looks like            Chapter 1          Introduction           but in my table of contents it appears as (in the post script file)         1 Introduction ............................1                  what change do i need to make so that the table of               contents look like (in the post script file)        Chapter 1 Introduction ................ 1       thanks in advance -Sumanth
