i installed the 1.1.5-source too. the bin-file of lyx
is after compiling (gcc 2.95.2) more than 11 MEGAbytes ...
the former version 1.1.4 was just a little bit smaller ... ;-)

also this new version don't read the ~/.lyx/lyxrc file. it always starts
with the english menu.
i don't know if this situation belongs to suse, but there are too much
directories with lyx ....
it's a little bit confusing.
