page numbers on first chapters

Hi all!
Still trying to get my thesis to pass Thesis Office requirements:
I need to get page numbers to show up on pages that have Chapter
Headings,
(like "Chapter 1: Introduction", "Contents", "Bibliography")  in them. I
am using the Latex book class.
