Have you run a ldconfig (with root permissions) after installation of the libraries? I
have a
SuSE 6.3 and Lyx 1.1.4 and 1.1.4fix1 are working perfectly !
You can try (as root) ldconfig -NXv | grep forms in order to verify
the availability of the lib.
