I have a new RedHat Linux 6.1 machine. The tetex on it did not include
FoilTeX. So I grabbed it from CTAN. Then:
- I modified /usr/share/texmf/web2c/texmf.cnf to say
TEXMFLOCAL = /usr/local/texmf
- I created /usr/local/texmf/tex/latex/foiltex, which contains
fltfonts.def foil25.clo foils.sty foiltex.ins sampfoil.tex
foil17.clo foil30.clo foilshrt.clo foiltex.log
foil20.clo foils.cls foiltex.dtx readme.flt
- I ran texhash, which created /usr/local/texmf/ls-R
But still in Lyx layout->document does not show FoilTeX. I wonder what
else I need to do to get LyX to "see" foiltex?
