I just found another graphical front-end for LaTeX. It is called
TeXmacs and the website is:

It looks like they have integrated the dvi-viewer into the
front-end so it has a very nice appearance. It is not nearly
as complete as LyX since it does not support ps figures, has
very terse documentation, and tables do not work (for me). It
is also quite slow. TeXmacs also lacks the pop-up dialog boxes
that make LyX so easy to use. However it is worth a look.
