I remember that SW can read standard .TEX files, but it does with some
slightly retouch in the document preamble. For example SW add
\input tcilatex
before \begin {document}

Inverse is true too: you could transform the .TEX files  generated by SW with
reLyX with no serius changes.  However there are a lot of environments that
not is possible translate well (including figures and tables)
