Hy there, I've got a Sun sparc ipx 4/50, with a redhat 6.0.1 installed... I've download the linux-sparc xforms.0.88.tgz from the lyx ftp server and installed it by make install. But the forms.h file was not copied in the /usr/X11R6/include directory. I did it manually. my ld.so.conf is the following /usr/lib (where the forms libs are) /usr/local/lib /usr/X11R6/lib (i made a link on the forms libs here) I made ./configure and th result is : checking for XpmCreateBufferFromImage in -lXpm... yes checking for X11/xpm.h... yes checking xpm header version... 4.10 checking for fl_initialize in -lforms... no <---------- checking for fl_initialize in -lxforms... no <---------- checking for X11/forms.h... yes <---------- very funny isn't it. checking xforms header version... 0.88 checking for dirent.h that defines DIR... yes the system tells me that the forms libs are badly installed. I've tried the --enable-extra-lib with no success, I've made make symlinks in the linux kernel source with no success Have you got an idea? "Y faut lirrrreeee...
