First of all I would like to thank to the LyX team for its wonderful
work. I want also to express my gratitude to the author of the
Windows-NT lyx version port located at:
http://www.cs.uu.nl/~steven/personal/lyx/lyx.html
I am new in the Latex and Lyx World, but at the end I was able, with
some help, to make LyX running on my PC.
Now I have the following question: I want to add a new layout and I
tried to copy the *.layout files to the .
"c:\apps\lyx\share\lyx\layouts" directory. Once the files were copied, I
ran Options/Reconfigure in the LyX menu, and then I quit. After that,
when I reloaded the LyX program, in the Layout/Document/Class there were
no changes and the new class did not appear. I repeated the process and
when I ran Reconfigure, in the command window appeared:
/apps/lyx/share/lyx/configure: not found
However the configure file was in that directory. I guess it has to do
whit the sh shell. Can anybody help me please?
