I have no clue what version of LyX you are using, but we fixed some
bugs in version controll in the 1.0.x series. I am not sure if KLyX
kan patched in those.
The "\377777775" looks strange, unicode?
And the version control in LyX is not using CVS, but RCS. RCS is
simpler than RCS and not suited for concurrent work by several
authours.
LyX 1.0.4 will be released in a very short time now, so you should try
that when it is released.
