Hello all, I forward this message from Juergen to the users list because I suspect that not all translators read lyx-devel. Let me say that I wholeheartedly agree with Juergen on this. The translation of documentation is a *very* important feature in LyX (along with the quality of the original documentation, of course!). So, if you are a non-programmer which would like to spend a bit of time giving back to the LyX community, please contact either the documentation team at [EMAIL PROTECTED] or the maintainer of the translation(s) you could contribute to at the address given in http://www.devel.lyx.org/translation.php3 JMarc
Dear Doc-Team!!! I already had a talk with my fellow developers at the TILDEM-Italy, it which I told them that what I was most impressed of for the 1.0.x release of LyX was not so the code modification, but all the documentation changes with all the language support and translation effort. I think now it's time to speak up and tell you that you did AND do a great work, which I personally value VERY important. So please keep up with the GREAT work and MANY THANKS to ALL of YOU!!! Greets Jürgen P.S.: This in occasion to the Japanese translation of the UserGuide, which opens another country for the world-rule of LyX!!! #:O) -._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._ Dr. Jürgen Vigna E-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Gerbergasse 60 Tel: +39-0471-450260 I-39100 Bozen Fax: +39-0471-970042 ITALY Web: http://www.sad.it/~jug !07/11 PDP a ni deppart m'I !pleH -._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._
