Hi --
I just installed LyX 1.0.3 into a new RedHat Linux 6.0 configuration on
my ThinkPad 600. LyX is working fine except that it comes up with crazy
colors by default (unattractive blues and greens). The text "Failed to
share colors. Using private colormap." is printed when the program is
launched.
If I run "lyx -shared", I get the expected appearance but the following
is printed:
In MapColor [flcolor.c 816] ColormapFull. Using substitutions
LyX: Couldn't get color lightblue
Will use FastSelection-method.
Any suggestions? Is this a limitation of my laptop's screen?
