put your cursor in the column with the text (includes the linebreaks)
than right mouse buttons opened the tabular menue. Now disable the
button for linebreaks (Zeilenumbrüche in german). Pay attention now
for \\ in texmode, they don't work right, when linebreaks are not
enabled.
