Just FYI, Yitzhak Zangi confirmed that he will try to work on hebrew translations for 2.4, so we should leave he.po in the distribution.

I'm not sure that there is any efficient way how to compare with the old versions, diff is too weak tool, because it will compare also the line numbers which change a lot. In my opinion some strings do not need translation. E.g. I typically do not translate strings for esoteric journal templates and this itself can alleviate non-trivial part of the strings. In that case just supplant it with english string and thus mark it "translated" for the stats. Some some strings might look "not corresponding" becauce they are mere suggestion and marked by the "fuzzy" flag, which needs to be deleted before the translation is taken seriously. > 4) Any other information that I should know before I decide to take on this > project? You should definitely read README.localization file. If we know that you are in the process of translations we are not going to drop he.po in the meantime. Also if you focus on the menu and dialogs and make this reasonably complete we don't need to be strict about this "50%" rule..
