In section 3.2, there are instructions to open File > New from Template > templates.lyx. However, when I try to do that, no files are visible in the subsequent Finder box. I have attached a screen cap of that box. This occurs for version 2.1.0beta2 on Mac OS 10.6.8. Permissions on the files in the templates directory are '644'. So that doesn't appear to be the issue. I tried the same thing for version 2.0.6 with the same OS. In that version, I can see a defaults.lyx file name in the Finder box but nothing else. I figured I'd report this to the writers to see if the behavior can be confirmed before submitting a bug report. Thanks, dan
