Thanks Scott. I'll do that. I think the docs are in decent shape. I have ideas 
that seem helpful, use what you can, leave the rest.

 Any suggestions you make will be appreciated. They will

 looked at by a LyX developer although it could take some
 time.
 However, the best way for you to help would be to look at
 the most
 recent manuals. You can do this by installing LyX 2.1 beta
 2:
 ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/devel/lyx-2.1/lyx-2.1.0beta2
 Then, when you make your changes, please turn change
 tracking on.
 If you're not able to do that, no problem. It will just be
 harder to
 incorporate your changes.
