Dear list, I am lying. I do not know that acrobat reader will lock the previewed file so the attached patch is just an innocent patch to test if to_file in convert() is writable. If not, to_file0, to_file1 etc will be used.
I have not tested this patch, but will you like it? Note that there will not be many extra files under /tmp since re-writable files will be reused. Bo
