Not really. I know that I am using a non-posix function so I will
convert the path from whatever style to windows. Cygwin gives you
functions to do that.

On cygwin it is 'Yes!', too.

Then you are saying that my version of LyX (doing exactly that) does
not exist?! I am happily using it from several months without any problem
so far. I have only to keep an eye on you to avoid being thwarted ;-)
