Uploading works fine. The file manager gives an error: "File to large". So it's a limit that can be configured.

Hmm... I'm not so sure. When we used PmWiki's builtin mechanism for uploading files PHP/Apache had a limit of 1 or 2 MB. (IIRC, this was even specific to Apache being built on RedHat or something).

Anyway, that's history as we're now using a separate file manager called

        Invision Power File Manager

which is also based on PHP. Unfortuntaely I have no clue whatsoever how I could change it to configure the limit. Or if this is even possible.

I played around in the control center and couldn't find anything. I also looked around in the source code (it's php). As far as i could tell it gets an error message, probably from Apache, saying that the file is too big. This was just a quick look so I could be wrong of course.
