Btw, I've talked to the guy who wrote the intial plugin and we found the
problem. So now the first method of embedding an object should work. At
the bottom of the page I've now added it as an object using this markup:
(:object LyxVCS:lyx-devel/trunk/INSTALL.scons :)
Just keep the one you like and remove the other. You might want to make
the object larger by something like
(:object LyxVCS:lyx-devel/trunk/INSTALL.scons height=1000 :)
