this is why we should have 1 (and only 1) official frontend at a time
it is madness to require people to prevent 3 other frontends from not
breaking
if people are interested in others (f.e. gtk) then that is great but it
is up to *them* to follow trunk
it is quite clear that the only viable frontend is the qt4 one
imsho we should have
1.4 qt3, xforms
1.5 qt4
and we should make this decision asap
