I'd name it INSTALL.scons. This is a file abou building LyX. README is supposed to be about using it.
Can the attached patch go in? There is a FIXME there and Abdel will fix it when he gets a chance. Regarding SConscript change, Peter, do you have any particular reason to add another copy of -DQT_NO_STL? (The patch removes it.) Bo
