There is a resize window bug with MSVC; did you solve that Peter?
Anyone still interested in the
pch feature? This is the only big feature that is missing in the scons
system, but I am not sure how much we can benefit from it. The facts
that pch is compiler-dependent, and not yet well supported for g++ (?)
discourage me and I need some motivations to do that.
I think good pch support is only in gcc > 4.1. So for now mingw is out
of the game. I am not sure it is available for MSVC2005 Express edition.
BTW, scons gets funded from google to implement autoconf like
distribution features so these features should be coming in a few
months. With those in, scons should be comparable to autotools.
