No still Mingw. LyX/MSVC still have no gettext support and there is a
windows resize bug.

I have tried it with mingw. It links OK but localization does not work
with it. Don't ask me why. I guess this is because the circular
dependency between iconv and intl. IIRC Angus and Enrico have
investigated this issue.

Or what we could do is to compile the official intl with cygwin/mingw
and distribute that. Enrico, Angus, didn't you do just that? Did you
succeed?
