Finally, the source code of the new LyX 1.4 installer. Updated Windows build instructions are also included.

To apply this to a 1.4 tree:

* Remove everything inside development\Win32\packaging\installer
* Remove development\Win32\packaging\build_aspell.sh
* Remove development\Win32\packaging\README
* Extract the attached archive

Two installers will be provided:

* Standard web installer

* Installer with everything bundled

A complete package with LyX and all related software.

Joost

Contains only the essentials to run LyX (all GPL compatible) and can download missing components (LaTeX, ImageMagick, Ghostscript, GSView) automatically. A small set of MSYS/Python files is included. I also created ready-to-use installers of the current 1.4.2svn with the latest Q../Free and everything else. These installers have been uploaded to incoming on the LyX FTP server. Can someone move them to a public location?
