Of course, that makes a lot of sense.  In fact, now that you've pointed out
this strategy to me, I recall that I used to have a copy of www-user
checked out on [EMAIL PROTECTED]/public_html so that any changes I
made were fine with a quick http://www.lyx.org/~leeming/www-user/

So, this comes down to giving Joost an account on aussie together with
karma to create a branch, no?

While you're at it, you might give him access to
development/Win32/packaging so that his "NSIS developer approved" version
of the LyX installer doesn't get lost. Incidentally, Joost, did anything
come of this? Have I missed some mails?
