Then i have created a new lyx doc, added a subsection (note that the 'section' env appears to work as usually), changed lanuguage to 'italian': the tag 'รจ privo di senso' appears, instead of the subsection number '0.1'. Note that the postscript rendering displays '0.1', as expected. thank you -- paolo
