I see the source of this problem. I will provide a thorough (will ever happen?) patch tonight.
1. $ scons -f development/scons/SConscript and $ cd development/scons $ scons should both work. 2. $ scons lyxclient works under linux, you can choose target to build $ scons tex2lyx $ scons lyx 3. $ scons install not working yet. (programs are installed, not directories) 4. boost=included now fixed. 5. no success to reduce start time. Not enough time to test for windows. Please continue to report bugs. Bo
