That was the first idea. The question is 'where in the dialog'?
You're misunderstanding. My idea was not to put it in the dialog, but
in the *menu*. So if a user selects Document > Compressed, that menu
line gets checked and if the user reselects it, it gets unchecked
(like the "Show Changes in Output" menu item).
Thus, the Document menu looks like this:
Change Tracking >
LaTeX Log
Table of Contents
Start Appendix Here
-------------------
Settings...
Save in Compressed Format
(When the "Save in Compressed Format" option is selected, a checkmark
appears to the left of it in the menu.)
