I didn't feel the feature was so important that it needed time and effort spending on it before we released the first officially-supported version of LyX on Windows. You probably have no idea how much time and effort I put into merging Ruurd's port of LyX to Windows into the official sources. That's fair enough, why should you? But I was also finishing off one career, tidying up all the loose ends that that entails, holding down a part-time consultancy, setting myself up to change career and gearing up to becoming a father. All in all, last year was quite... busy ;-) Truly, it's great to see two committed Windows developers taking this thing forward. Angus
