No. But I neither saw anyone using the cygwin tetex with native win LyX.

SH: During the past eight months or so I saw a few people
ask about LyX for Cygwin and the usual response was that
it wasn't supported---use native.

About a month ago somebody on the user list asked for help
configuring WinLyX1.3.7 with Cygwin. I told him it couldn't
be done because that was what I had read, even though he
reported making good progress. I searched dozens of webpages
and never came across this solution/method.

Since then I have installed WinLyx1.3.7 using Cygwin apps.
xdvi presents the only problem although the symlinks have
to be renamed to the actual executable. Enrico created and
shared the .bat file that fixes xdvi. It is a magnitude
easier to use a WinLyx .exe rather than build LyX on Cygwin.

Stephen
