Not adding our own "path search" mechanism, but use the system for that. If the system not setup to give access to the correct progs, use absolute paths for those. (If we distrubuted our own 'bin' dir then, OTOH, I'd think it ok to modify the environment from inside lyx to include that as well.) I might be naive, but I think we should play as little as possible with the environment the system provides us. -- Lgb
