Here is what I plan on making: A dialog named "Horizontal spacing & formatting", as it does both spacing and other things.
Pulldown list for selecting type: space, dots, rule, leftarrow, rightarrow, upbrace, downbrace Pulldown list for selecting distance: small, med, big, fill, user defined Edit field for the user defined distance Pulldown list with units (in/cm/pt,...) Checkbox for protection, this really only apply to the "space" type. I have figured out and tested the latex to generate for all combinations of input. Now I am looking at qt4 designer. :-) Helge Hafting
