Thoughts?
It is amazing how many fundamental bugs have been fixed in 1.4.1! I hope we will regain our good reputation.

The following patches are on my "not-yet-applied-to-1.4.X" list:

r13328 - Fix bug 2195: Slowness in rendering inside insets, especially on the Mac
r13415 - Changes to the within-inset row rendering caching code
r13418 - expand redrawing of current row to endpos() AGAIN
r13420 - constify; remove unneeded casts
r13432 - MV - Selective expose patch r13434 - AY - replace hard-coded "/tmp" with package().temp_dir() r13494 - MV - paragraph styles like itemize too readily enter into charstyle insets

If we apply Martin's performance patches, 1.4.1 is nearly in sync with 1.5.0 again :-)
