Hi all, I encountered a regression with LyX 1.4.0 on Windows using MikTeX (the bug probably occurs on Linux as well).
LyX 1.3 truncates long graphics file names, whereas LyX 1.4 does not. Unfortunately, pdflatex (from MikTeX) does not accept file names like 1C__Dokumente_und_Einstellungen_ms_Eigene_Dateien_Publikationen_Veröffentlichungen_Work_in_Progress_AnotherDir_ThisIsTheNameOfMyFile.pdf ============================== $ pdflatex testcrap This is pdfeTeX, Version 3.141592-1.21a-2.2 (MiKTeX 2.4) entering extended mode (testcrap.tex LaTeX2e <2003/12/01> Babel <v3.8g> and hyphenation patterns for english, dumylang, nohyphenation, ge rman, ngerman, french, loaded. *** Exceptional condition detected: *** >>> Destination buffer too small (AppendString). <<< *** pdfetex terminates gracefully. ============================== Any solution (forward port from 1.3?) is highly appreciated!
