In ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/bin/1.4.0/ there are various rpm binaries for people with different architectures and distros. They are very useful. Thank You.
I realize that it may use excesive disk space to publish source rpm since the tarballs are available. One request in the spirit of the GPL: Please publish the .spec files! Sometime someone may wish to hack one of these rpm and they should not want to reinvent the wheel in the form of a .spec file! I know that there is a generic .spec file in the tarball, but often these .spec files have to be hacked to meet the reqquirments of a distribution! Without the .spec file it is impossible to create a hacked .rpm without authoring a whole new .spec file. Thank You. -- Paul Elliott 1(512)837-1096 [EMAIL PROTECTED] PMB 181, 11900 Metric Blvd Suite J http://www.io.com/~pelliott/pme/ Austin TX 78758-3117
