As I noted in a different thread, I've placed a slightly revised
version of the LyX/Mac metadata importer here: <

this is ready to go in to 1.4.0, though comments would be welcome.

Along with the change, I decided to look again at the Info.plist file
that is a part of the LyX/Mac application bundle, and found a minor
tweak was necessary for consistency; trivial patch attached.
