I'm always working with the latest cvs (or as of now: svn) version of the stable branch, not with any released version. I would be willing to take the rather bearable risk and test this patch in daily work between two stable releases. In any way, I think that the chance it gets tested under real life conditions would be higher if it's be committed to 1.4 at some time, not HEAD. Jürgen
