> It is already done in 1.4 :-) Really? I just tried to compile a file with 'too-long-filename' problem with 1.4.0cvs and get the same error message as in 1.3.7: "Latex Error: File: 59_home_bpeng_..... nof found". Obviously, the tmp filename still uses absolute path.
BTW, I notice another problem with 1.4.0cvs. The sections/subsections in the file I loaded are not numbered, and are not shown in the navigation menu. The ps/pdf output is correct (with section numbers). What might be causing the problem? Note that the file is in 1.3.6 format. Cheers, Bo
