No, since the various places where lyxl2yx introduces "Standard" it actually means "the default layout of the textclass". What could be possible is an alias "Standard" for the default layout of the textclass, but I don't like that either. The cleanest solution is to make lyx2lyx aware of the layout files, but I am not sure whether that is feasible for 1.4.0. Georg
