I am happy to report that I am having Johann's and Paul's problems with LyX 1.3.7pre2 on Win98... I mean: exactly the same problems... Which means that LyX 1.3.7pre2 is finally running well on Win98 (well, at least as well as it does on the other Win platforms :-) This far, it's also running well on WinXP and Win2k, provided I uninstall the previous version before installing the update.
