We really need to get 1.4.0 out. We should do nothing on this bug (apart from adding it to bugzilla) unless the fix is very simple. I know that it is difficult, but we have to accept the fact that 1.3.6 has crashing bugs and that 1.4.0 will have them, too. Georg
