The reason I think it'd be better to try to do these in round 1 is
because if we don't, there'll be little motivation to ever fix it, and
we'll be excluding a large class of users as a result...

Baby steps is definitely fine, but we should at least /aim/ to get this
stuff done in the first attempt...
