I agree, spellchecking is hard to install It was hard for me to install
aspell, it took few mounth to get it working. It was hard to find hungarian
dictionary. But finally it is working, sometimes... :(

I think that miktex is a quite large package of programs, styles, and so.
We may live with its installer. Maybe a frozen version should be kept available,
for a specific lyx version. To help bugs finding and problem solving.

As I told you earlier Angus wrote a quite good one, I think it enough to
extend it to suit our needs.
