Russian translation in lyx-1.4.0pre2 (qt ui) is shown in wrong encoding, look at snapshot at http://canopus.iacp.dvo.ru/~panov/lyx_rus.png . I have compiled lyx-1.4.0pre2 against qt-3.3.4 on Slackware 10.2 Linux and use KOI8-R locale (LC_ALL=ru_RU.KOI8-R, LANG=ru_RU.KOI8-R)
At start lyx writes on console: Language code:ru_RU Setting new locale for Qt:koi8 -- Andrey V. Panov panov /@/ canopus.iacp.dvo.ru
